Neil Brook, Managing director
Neil took the helm in 1995. Since then, he’s seen Moorgate successfully expand and relocate to larger premises. Neil’s core concern is customer satisfaction and he believes Moorgate delivers this alongside our flexible approach to doing business.

Linda Brook, Director
Director, Linda, has been a part of the team for more than 19 years and is integral to the smooth running of all of our operations.
Her efficient and helpful approach to identifying customers’ needs ensures an excellent service throughout.
Neil and Linda are supported by a highly experienced and skilled team made up of the pick of the material handling industry’s engineers and support staff.
Courtney Brook, Director
Courtney is Director at Moorgate. Courtney ensures all processes are followed in order to provide customers with excellent service. Her expertise in business and communications help drive the day-to-day operations of Moorgate.
Courtney loves being part of a close-knit team who work well together and laugh every day. If you are looking to hire a new vehicle, purchase a refurbished model, or inquire about repairs or maintenance, Courtney is typically the first point of contact.
Chris Scarlett, Field Service Engineer
Chris has been at Moorgate for over 16 years and has over 25 years in the material handling industry. Coming from an electrical engineering background, Chris specialises in repairing and maintaining the forklift and pallet trucks that go through Moorgate’s busy workshop.
Working on a variety of different sized trucks, he values the friendly atmosphere at work whilst still delivering excellent customer service.
Danny Jakeman, Service Manager
With over 15 years’ field experience under his belt, Danny joined the Moorgate team in the summer of 2017. With big jobs or small he isn’t afraid to get his hands stuck in and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
Danny loves Moorgate’s friendly and honest approach to dealing with customers new and old, and is enjoying continuing his journey as part of the team.
Trevor Mortimer, Training Manager
Trevor is the Training Manager at Moorgate. He’s been with the team freelance since 2021 and joined full-time in 2022. Trevor brings 35 of forklift driving experience to his role and has undertaken an impressive 27 driving tests on various mechanical handling equipment.
Due to his expertise and accredited instructor status with RTITB, Trevor can deliver extensive forklift driver training. He is responsible for training, conversion courses, producing certificates, and health & safety policies. He loves the fact that no day is ever the same, and the great team spirit at Moorgate.
