Neil Brook, Managing director
Neil took the helm in 1995. Since then, he’s seen Moorgate successfully expand and relocate to larger premises. Neil’s core concern is customer satisfaction and he believes Moorgate delivers this alongside our flexible approach to doing business.

Linda Brook, Director
Director, Linda, has been a part of the team for more than 15 years. Integral to the smooth running of all of our operations, she’s often the first point of contact for customer enquiries.
Her efficient and helpful approach to identifying customers’ needs ensures an excellent service throughout.
Neil and Linda are supported by a highly experienced and skilled team made up of the pick of the material handling industry’s engineers and support staff.
Russell Westmoreland, Service Manager
Russ has been part of the Moorgate team for over 8 years, with 35 years’ experience in the material handling industry. He started as an engineer specialising in servicing and repairing Moorgate’s array of used and new forklift trucks.
For the last 3 years, Russ has moved to the role of Service Manager, carefully planning and organising our engineering team to ensure customer satisfaction is always met.
Russ believes the companies culture and high regard for customer service is what sets Moorgate apart from the competition.
Chris Scarlett, Field Service Engineer
Chris has been at Moorgate for over 12 years and has 25 years in the material handling industry. Coming from an electrical engineering background, Chris specialises in repairing and maintaining the forklift and pallet trucks that go through Moorgate’s busy workshop.
Working on a variety of different sized trucks, he values the friendly atmosphere at work whilst still delivering excellent customer service.
Danny Jakeman, Engineer
With 12 years field experience under his belt, Danny joined the Moorgate team in the summer of 2017. With big jobs or small he isn’t afraid to get his hands stuck in and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
Danny loves Moorgate’s friendly and honest approach to dealing with customers new and old, and can’t wait to continue his journey as part of the team.
Hayley Wright, Administrator
Hayley handles Moorgate Forklifts from behind the scenes, looking after sales, marketing and social media. She joined the team in summer 2017 and loves being part of a dedicated and friendly team.
Hayley is the first point of contact for any customer enquiry. With 10 years experience of high customer service, she ensures each enquiry is dealt with the utmost importance.
Her commitment to keeping the lines of communication open every step of the way ensures that customers are kept informed and know exactly what they’re getting when they use Moorgate.
Dave Brownridge, Engineer
Dave has over 40 years industry experience of forklifts and material handling equipment, so has a wealth of knowledge for a variety of vehicles and engines. He applies his extensive skill set to servicing and repairing not only Moorgate’s array of trucks but also customer’s trucks and equipment.
Dave values Moorgate’s honest approach to business and gets a great deal of job satisfaction working with colleagues and customers alike.
Neil Thompson, Field Service Engineer
Neil is a field service engineer and spends his time visiting customer sites to survey, service and repair their forklift trucks. Neil has been an engineer for decades and previously ran his own car garage. His background means he has a strong understanding of mechanics, as well as business operations.
Although he’s relatively new to the world of forklifts, he’s already an expert hand.
